Where in the world Wednesday!

Sorry I've been gone so long. My mom has been very busy with school, work, practicum, work, Kon, work, and me. But I'm back today!!!

Mom and Dad are talking about planning a trip to South Africa. I don't know where that is but I think it's far away. But I'm not too worried about it, because they are planning to go in 2010 and that is 3 years away. By then, I will be really good at using my harness. I don't know what Kon will do, but I'm sure we'll figure something out.
Here's a guide to traveling in South Africa that they got for me. Wow, I can visit the big cats!

My name is Sly. It is short for Sylvester. That's what I was called at Heartland Animal Shelter. Also, Mom and Dad thought it was sneakier to call me Sly, because I am! And also because Kon's name is Kon. Which is also sneaky. His name was originally Congo at the shelter, but they changed it before Mom adopted us. I don't know why.

MEOW LIKE A PIRATE DAY!!!!!!!!

HOORAY!!! Next Wednesday (Sept 19th) is Meow like a pirate day!!! My Mom loves celebrating the pirate day. She decorated her college for it a few years back! and she and Dad had a pirate pool party reception for their wedding. Mom dressed up like a pirate for Halloween last year too. I'm excited about Meowing like a pirate this year! Join me! YARRRRR!!!!

Great fun tuesday!

Mom brought home an adventuring harness yesterday!!! Look how good I look! Yesterday I was just trying it on, but today!!!!: I went for a walk around the yard! Mom said I did really great because sometimes purries don't like harnesses very much. But I love mine and I love adventuring outside! oh and Kon got a new bear and I love licking it.

Betternarian

Mom took me and Kon to the betternarian yesterday. I got to go in my stroller. We went around in this store and there were some woofies there too. I did not like the betternarian very much, because they stuck me with a sharp thing and it hurt and then they did it AGAIN!!! I don't feel any better, in fact, I felt just plan awful last night, but Mom and Dad loved on me and Kon lots and lots.

Now that the horror story is out of the way, I will tell you about what Mom made for us this week. It's a Lobster. Kon loves it, so I'll let him model it for you.

I was attacked!!!!

I was on the roof today minding my own business and batting at this crazy thing, when these crazy little bugs started attacking my face!!!! I got stung by one of them right under my eye and it hurt really bad and then swelled a little, but now the swelling is mostly gone because Mom loved on me lots and put a cold wash cloth with ice inside it on my face. It felt a bit better after that.




Also our Aunt Dayna came to visit and I was helping her to read the new Harry Potter book. Here I am stretching after a good read. it's important to not read for too long without stretching otherwise your eyes might hurt.



Anyway, my eye is much better now and my nose is not swelled up anymore. I took a nap too. I wish Skittles could have come to give me a kiss on the nose to make it stop stinging. ::Sigh:: She's so gorgeous.

My sister Chloe

This is our sister Chloe. She lives in Virginia.
She lives with Grandma Lisa and Grandad Steve.
She is very tough! She eats the woofies' food.



She has very bright eyes like us! And a very black coat!


She is also an indoor/outdoor cat. If we move to Virginia, we hope we can go outside with her too!

Mom and Dad are back!!!

Mom and Dad are back from their vacation. We had some computer issues when they first returned so it's taken until now to post. But here I am!

There are lots of pictures of their big adventures in Virginia.
First, Dad was in a Wedding and that is why they had to go out there in the first place. He looks great in a tux. he kinda matches me! Although, he is kind of silly:)


They also visited with lots of family.

He is tricking that bird to try to get it in the suitcase. It didn't work though, because Mom said she wanted to bring it back for me, but airport security wouldn't have let them:( She still could have mailed it to me! There's also a picture of my grandad with my bird. Watch out Grandad!!! It's going to bite you. If only I had not been discovered in the suitcase before they left I could have caught it off your nose!






Also, we have pictures of our sister Chloe who lives at Grandma Lisa and Grandad Steve's. I'll have to post that later. She is older than us and she owned our mom before we did. We can share though, but only when Mom is in Virginia.

Vacation

I might not be on very much this week. My mom and dad are going on vacation to a magical place called Virginia. They will be back next week. So unless our food person Mr. Josh can figure out our blog and the internet, I'm not sure I'll be on much. I am hoping to be at Skittles' yoga class though. ::Sigh:: She's so lovely!
