Today while I was lounging around, Mom came in the apartment, scooped up Kon, stuft him into a carrier and whisked him away. I cried a lot, because I missed my brother. He came back about an hour later and was rather flustered! He said Mom took him to the Betternarian.
He had lost a big tooth on the bottom on Sunday and Mom was it would get infected, so they went to the doctor. It looks like where the tooth was, the root is still there, and the doctor said that it looked like the top big tooth was irritated too and would probably fall out later. But the worst thing is that Kon has to get a surgery to remove the root and check out the other one. So he'll be going to the Betternarian AGAIN!!! Sometime next week. The only problem is, it's pretty expensive. About $300 which mom isn't sure where she and Dad will be able to find that. Especially since Dad is a Teacher Assistant and doesn't work fulltime during the summer. But it has to be done, so I know they'll find a way.

oh dear Kon. we hopes that you feels better soon - dental surgery is awful! we knows how hard it is for the v-e-t bills. we has to try and save up the green papers for billy to go back and get some more med-i-k-shus for his breathing prollems.

Oh Kon! Maybe you could put the tooth under the pillow and the tooth fairy will leave some money. At least that's what my pet human says.

Oh, Kon has my sympathy. I haven't lost any teeth but they keep putting yukky medicine on my gums and stuff.

Poor Kon, both Zippy and Sadie broke teefs and hadda haf dem fished out...it's no fun and it's not cheap. We is sure dat da blogosphere will help out, dey is good dat way.
Oh Kon!!!! I am so sorry to hear about your teeth!! I hope it does not hurt too much. The Vet is not fun,but he might make your mouth feel better :)
